Hello svtsnake! I just wanted to thank all
of you for this great oppurtunity. This really mean's a lot to me. Some
backround information.
The first time I saw a 2003 cobra was at mustang magic. I went to a dyno day
just to see what it was all about. I knew I had to have that car. The motor, the
style of the car, everything about it just seemed perfect. I walked in a svt
dealership and saw a silver cobra. I fell in love. When the deal was made, and
went to go pick up the car, I felt like a 5 year old kid in a toy store. Funny
thing is, I already had a list of mod's I wanted to do.
The car started off with a simple catback, cold air intake. It made 427rwhp
396rwtq. I was impressed how much power it made with two bolt on's. The car went
a best of 12.32 at 115mph, propelled by venomous john down the track on stock
tire's at our first svtsnake "track day." I managed a best of 13.0 spinning half
way down the track.
From there it took off. Upper pulley combo, ported eaton, all bolt on's. The mod
bug was there and uncle jimmy alway's told me, " Don't go down the slippery
slope Alex!" That was hard to do.
The car now has the following mod's. Gen 1 2.3L whipple, billetflow throttle
body, steeda cold air intake, magnaflow catback, prochamber midpipe, steeda
short throw shifter, sct 2400 maf, 60lb injectors, fore hat, ford GT pump's.
stage 2 fpmd, and MM subframe connector's. Car made the best of 596rwhp 563rwtq
93 octane, 100% street car, full weight, 3800lbs with me in it.
I really don't have that much going on with the car, but more to come this
year!! All work was done at MUSTANG MAGIC. I want to thank Joe, Joey the tuner
that brings it all together, steve the ill mechanic that saved me a few time's
lol, mikey, everyone, the whole crew at MM thank you very much.
Once again, thank you SVTSNAKE for this chance, my boy dominick, the moderator's
and all the member's. You guy's are awesome. Long live the mustang!!!
