June 2007 Featured Ride:
Congratulations: Joe Baker "Z06KILHER"

First off I would like to say I am honored to be this
months featured ride.. I’d like to thank Jimmy V. and Joe at Mustang Magic along
with all the guys at the shop for always working on my car and all those who
make this site such a great place to visit. I bought my 04’ Terminator after my
99’ Cobra had been totaled and I wanted something more so I decided to buy a 04’
Cobra from McCarville Ford in January of 2004. I originally said after my 99’
Cobra I would not modify this car and keep it stock, but that only lasted for
about four months. The guys at Mustang Magic convinced me to put on the basic
bolt on’s such as Catback, CAI, and a 3.0 pulley. I had a little fun with that
for a few months then decided to get a ported blower from Apten at that time and
then sold that blower later on to A.J. with the Pumpkin.
I knew I wanted to have a different setup then some others so when Whipple
started making superchargers for our cars I bought one and then decided to go
with a built engine from VT Engines. It is currently a 306 Billet stroker with
Crower Cams and 19lbs of boost and I was more then pleased with the numbers it
made after my project was all complete. I recently wanted to take my car
to the track just to see how fast it was and went to ATCO, NJ with Tommy (JuiceHead)
who was nice enough to trailer me there. I was more than pleased with the times
I ran for a person who has never seen or been to the track and hope to go back
to run even better times this fall in cooler weather and with some seat time.
I would like to thank SVTSnake.com, Jimmy V, Pete, Tommy Blore, A.J. and John
Venemous and all those who have helped me with my setup and for those who are
always giving me advice on what works and what doesn’t. Also a big thanks to
Joey the Tuner for always working his magic on my car and a big thanks to Stevie
and Mikey Monza for always bolting up the parts to my car and always making it
go faster each and every time.
