Congratulations: Ed Velardi (TryThis1)

I would like to take this opportunity to thank SVTsnake.com for selecting me to
be the April feature ride of the month. It is truly an honor. My addiction to
Mustangs began in 1990, when I purchased a new Mustang LX notchback. It was a
5.0 5-speed and reminded me of my muscle car drag racing days. What a blast . I
than sold the car and drove around in family style cars .This all changed in
2002 when I purchased an 02 GT 5 -speed. Soon afterwards, my brother in law
bought an 03 Mach1 5-speed and let me drive it one day. That was it. It was so
much faster than the GT, I had to have one. Opportunity knocked in Nov of 03 and
I was able to buy my 04 Azure blue Mach1 5-speed. I modded the car with only
CAI, 4.30 gears, catted x pipe, Mac cat back exhaust and a dyno tune. The car's
best time to date is 12.55@108mph. The car has also been entered in numerous car
shows and is a consistant winner. To me the Mach1 is what Mustangs are all
about: looks, speed sound and above all attitu
de. I want to thank my wife for being fully supportive of my Mustang fetish,
Armand(AJ) for helping me with my car and for being a good friend all these
years, the guys at Mustang Magic for impecible workmanship, and to all the
members of this site for your advice and for being loyal Mustang enthusists.
