November 2005 Featured Ride:
Congratulations: Terrorteal (Matt)
Firstly, I want to thank SVTSNAKE.COM for accepting me and my love for Mustangs. I will be the first one to admit that my car is not the fastest or the best looking in our club, I know there are Mustangs which deserve this honor more than my car. But I do love driving it whenever I get the chance to with maximum joy.
I have been a Ford Mustang enthusiast since I can remember (mostly father influence). My father has always been a mustang guy and I guess it didn’t take me long to catch the same disease.
I purchased my first mustang in 2001. It was a red 1993 GT with black interior and very few modifications like headers, exhaust, chrome ponies, and a rebuilt AOD. Pretty sad performance car but I absolutely loved it; after all it was my first Pony car.
Being in college at the time didn’t help the fact that I wanted drive something faster. So, I started looking for faster mustangs to trade. That’s when I meet my TEAL beauty. I found this car in MA and the owner of this gorgeous 94GT wanted to trade for a clean fox body. After a few days of negotiations I had my 94GT, straight up trade for my 93 GT. After a few months of harsh driving , the motor gave up on the way back from UpState New York
After looking at my 94 GT sit in my drive way for 2 years I decided to build it and bring it back to glory. Joe from Mustang Magic and I sat down and starting discussing some options. The conclusion was all forged 331 CI Stroker motor. There wasn’t a lot of parts I could re-use from my old motor. But we didn’t go HP crazy. Joe built me a very streetable motor with a mild upper motor consisting: Edelbrock Al. Heads(2.02/1.9), Edelbrock Upper and Lower Intake, 24 Lb injectors, Stage 2 TFS cam, 1.72 rockers, 83mm C&L , 70mm BBK Throttle Body, Fluidyne Al. Radiator, MSD ignition, pullies, Shorty headers, all Mac exhaust…all the good ol’ bolt-ons.
At the same time I wanted to touch up the exterior of the car as well. Keith from K&M Bodyshop and I decided to go with : Xenon body kit and a fresh coat of paint, new carpet, and Carbeu Seats
I especially want to thank Joe, Mike, Steve, Chris, and Joey from Mustang Magic for building me one hell of a Mustang… Keith and Steve from K&M, SVTSNAKE.COM members Dom, Noah, Pete, Jimmy, Josh, Ed, A.J, James, Bob, Mike, John, and everyone else that we spend lots of time down @ OBI, dyno-days, and many other Club events that we meet. It has truly been a great experience and I hope it continues for many years to come……Regards, Matt (Terrorteal)
